So I went through every ingredient in my makeup... again. Then I threw away anything with gluten. Which was pretty much every lip product I owned, my face powder and my blush. My intent is to get Physicians Formula powder and blush, as I already like the brand and, on their website, about half of their products are clearly labeled gluten-free. So I'm going to the store armed with that list... And trying not to think about the $ I spent on the stuff I threw out. :-/
On the up-side, my face is continuing to clear up :-) It's not perfect yet, but all my zits are smaller. Not just going away, but even new ones are smaller.
I also went through my bath stuff and ended up throwing out my Gilette shave cream. I had no scientific reason for it, but I read where some people with severe gluten sensitivity had reactions to it, so I'm not taking the chance.
Just to be clear, my reasoning for throwing out these things is because I am a firm believer that what goes on my skin can and will be absorbed into my body.
FAST FOOD: So there aren't too many fast food options that are gluten free, but Chick-Fil-A is my new favorite place. Because their fries are made in a dedicated fryer, they're gluten free!!! Their new grilled chicken nuggets are too! YUM!
Physical Update:
My LS may be improving, but it's too early to be sure. I haven't noticed a big change with my hypoglycemia. I'm still on my Iron pills, so nothing to report regarding the anemia.
